At Jimmy G’s, the evolution and sophistication is provided by an Art Nouveau meets “Mad Men” design style; with black granite floors, red wood paneling, and an exquisite array of large elegant chandeliers. Steel arc lamps reinforce the modern, mid-century aesthetic. Maintaining the existing layout, the space is divided into three interconnecting sections: the lounge bar, a central dining room and 2 private dining/banquet areas – the larger of which, includes a custom fireplace. Guests enter from the street, down a mysterious stairwell through an arched entranceway into the restaurant.
In the main dining room, shades of yellow dominate, with mustard seat cushions on white lattice backed chairs. Additional seating in the form of elevated U-shaped gray leather booths set against illuminated shimmer screens provide ample opportunity for the city’s major players to see and be unseen. Luxurious French doors are used to further enhance the space while at the same time allowing views of the restaurant. A multitude of privacy elements, including frosted glass and rich velvet, function to create a sense of intimacy among our VIP guests. Private dining rooms are separated from the main dining room by sliding pocket doors.
Echoing the restaurant, the lounge is very much in keeping with the mid-century aesthetic and is illuminated by an LED-lit bar and backdrop. Since traditional clubbing has lost some of its edge and consumers have become increasingly restaurant and food savvy, Jimmy G’s blurs the boundaries between restaurant and cocktail lounge, morphing into a chic after-dinner venue. The upper level Lunar nightclub is accessible via elevator accompanied by a Host. All dining guests will receive VIP entry into Lunar, as well as other special promotional offers and services.
