Ross Highley
General Manager

Ross Highley attended Ohio University in Athens for his first two years of college while working during his summers in Cincinnati managing a seasonal recreation venue. After deciding he wanted to pursue management as a career he moved back to the area to attend Northern Kentucky University for Business Management. His first taste of the food and beverage industry was at Pachinko in Covington, KY. In 2007, former hot spot Jeff Ruby’s Tropicana offered him the opportunity to transition into a Bar Manager position which he accepted. Once Tropicana closed, Highley began working on the opening of Bootsy’s Produced by Jeff Ruby in downtown Cincinnati. Bootsy’s unique and exciting atmosphere led to it being voted in the top 50 for OpenTable’s 2009 Vibrant Bar Scene list. After Bootsy’s closed its doors, he relocated to Louisville to be the Assistant General Manager of Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse. He has since returned to Cincinnati to accept a position with Jimmy G’s.
